Most Flexible 3-D Rigs Ever Designed
Through our close relationship with Element Technica we are the very first owners of Element’s new Quasar 3D camera platforms; the lightest, most robust and versatile 3D rigs on the market. With Evergreen as the exclusive beta tester of the entire Technica 3D line, Element has created an incredibly sturdy rig that can support any camera – be it digital, film or video. Our camera agnostic rigs are both rigid and flexible: rigid enough to withstand being knocked around on location, and uniquely flexible enough to convert quickly between parallel and beam splitter configurations. For even greater flexibility in a multitude of lighting situations, the beam splitter’s mirror can be mounted either underneath or above the lenses. Crane shots are effortless with our wireless 8-motor remotes – controlling focus, iris, zoom, interocular distance, and convergence on both cameras.
We built fast setups, quick calibration, and easy movement into these rigs. For both soundstage and location work, 3-D has never been this uncomplicated and
user-friendly. Calibration requires no tools and can even be done with gloves on.
Also, our repertoire of camera and lens combinations can cover every shooting condition imaginable.
Dual Studio Locations
Both our Los Angeles and Anchorage locations offer full 3-D pre-production, production and post-production. Our Alaska location offers some extra advantages:

Unique Workflow
Our post-production team employs the single most cost effective way of managing 3-D material. From image capture through duplication, prepping dailies, editing, final 3-D color grading and Digital Intermediate work – we are able to cover it all in one streamlined process. Our in-house Smokes and Lustres allow 2K real-time color grading and 3-D adjustments (including convergence).
Range of Productions
Evergreen Films is able to handle any size 3-D production: Concerts, Live Events, Sports, Feature Films, IMAX, 3-D TV. Need a dozen or more 3-D rigs? Not a problem. For live events, we shoot multiple Reds via remote trucks –setting up the live capture for either direct broadcast or tape delay. For theatrical productions, we’ve been using Reds and high-end Sony cameras.
