About

Integrating the vision of the artist with the ingenuity of the engineer;

great stories brought to life with the help of breakthrough technology.

In 2008, Mike Devlin and Pierre de Lespinois merged their respective companies, Dangerous Passage Productions and Evergreen Films, with a vision to create the ultimate, new-age film and television studio.  They aspired to build a studio where great stories drive technical innovation, where the boundaries of motion picture and television technology are constantly challenged to deliver compelling entertainment, and where new business models assure stellar production value, breakthrough distribution systems, and strong returns for investors.

Key to this concept are identical, vertically integrated, 3D-equipped studios in Los Angeles and Anchorage. These studios allow Evergreen to produce projects from inception through post-production assuring amazing production quality—even on modest budgets.

Evergreen is focused on developing its own entertainment properties along with partnership deals that allow Evergreen significant equity ownership.

A History of Innovation

Evergreen Films is recognized for redefining the standard for live action CGI animation on television and in motion pictures.  Pierre de Lespinois' leadership has brought the prehistoric world to life on Discovery with When Dinosaurs Roamed America and Dinosaur Planet, and has helped create spectacular visual effects for a number of movies including 300, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Fantastic Four.

Leading the 3D Revolution

True to its commitment as a technology innovator, Evergreen is one of the few studios in Hollywood that is equipped to acquire, produce and post 3D films and television. In addition, Evergreen employs a fleet of custom-designed 3D camera systems and two fully-equipped studios with post-production suites and large 3D theaters."

Alaska Incentives

As part of the new business model, Evergreen is positioned to leverage the single most aggressive incentive in the United States—Alaska film tax credits of up to 44%—through its Anchorage studio.
